DAY OR NIGH T, Reinke says you can trust them to provide excellent
performance and longevity to ensure maximum yield. Recently,
Reinke held a ribbon cutting at their Tifton, Georgia, parts
distribution center on July 23.
The mission of this center is to supply dealers and serve
customers throughout the entire southeast. Mike Mills gave his
thoughts on how he feels about the new center.
He states, “it’s so exciting as a territory manager to be able to
open this facility and bring this resource to our dealers so they
can take better care of our customers, as well as demonstrate to
the growers in the region that we’re here.”
Reinke has also been a longtime sponsor of the Sunbelt Ag
Expo since the beginning, and it is the longest running irrigation
exhibitor on the grounds.
Although Reinke contributes to many aspects of the expo such
as offering a drawing for a Henry Repeating Arms “Tribute to the
American Farmer” rifle, one of the most admirable contributions
is their cancer campaign called “Finding a Cure is PIVOTal”. Since
2012, Reinke has raised almost $30,000 for the 26. 2 with Donna, the
Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer, and hopes to surpass the $30,000
mark by the end of this year.
Mills wants people to know that Reinke is more than just men
and women trying to sell people irrigation systems. They go above
and beyond to establish relationships with all their customers in
hopes to create a better environment.
Each year they design a t-shirt specifically for the expo that is
available at their booth. During the three days of the expo, Reinke
offers the shirts in exchange for a $10 donation to “ 26. 2 with
Donna, The Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer.”
“This outstanding charity raises money to support breast cancer
patients and survivors in the region as well as supporting breast
cancer research,” Mills states. “We have had excellent results every
year and we expect 2019 to be no different.”
Since it is also October at the Expo and it is breast cancer
awareness month, the Reinke exhibit is easy to find because it is
decked out in pink. Head on over to their table to help them raise
their goal of a combined total of $30,000 this year.
Reinke also provides the winner of the Farmer of the Year award
a rifle. This will be the third year Reinke is supporting the Farmer
of the Year, and they are proud to help recognize excellence in
agriculture in our region.
With all that, they also have on display in their booth the
latest in irrigation technology, with many live, working demos of
control and telemetry technology. This is the same technology
Reinke provides the Darrell Williams Research Farm to utilize in the
research and demonstration plots.
Mills says, “the work this facility and its staff do to demonstrate
the newest and best products and practices is crucial to growing
the ag economy, and we are honored to be a part of supporting
Reinke’s partnership with the Sunbelt Ag Expo has helped
to grow their market share while at the same time helping their
customers be exposed to new and innovative products and
practices. Mills expresses he loves that both organizations have
grown and improved to better serve the farmers and producers
in the southeast, and he is proud to continue the partnership on
behalf of Reinke.
