MEREDITH MCGLAMORY
THE SUNBELT AG EXPO is not horsing
around at the Equine Barn this year. When
it comes to putting on a show, Georgia
Agricultural Commodity Commission for
Equine and the Sunbelt Ag Expo know
how to reign in the celebrities. Not only will
equine fans get to meet our rodeo queens,
but they will also have the chance to watch
and listen to three extraordinary guest
performers; Booger Brown, Wade Black,
and trick rider Analise Granger.
Rancher, horseman, and renowned
horse trainer, Booger Brown from Samson,
Alabama, will join us this year at the Sunbelt
Ag Expo. Most of you know him from The
Cowboy Way, a popular television show
that features Booger, his buddies, and Faith
Cattle Company. Booger has the uncanny
ability as an accomplished horseman and
renowned trainer through natural instincts
to “think like a horse.”
Road to the Horse 2019 Wild Card
Competitor Wade Black was born into
ranch life at Stampede Ranch in Nevada
on his father’s ranch. Wade now directs the
Equine Science Program at Treasure Valley
Community College in Ontario, Oregon.
Road to the Horse is a competition created
with passion and perseverance where small
crowds gathered at the Cowtown Coliseum
in the Fort Worth Stockyards. This vision
which began from modest and humble
cowboy beginnings conveys the message
to others of the relationship based on the
foundation of trust with the horse, and
everything else can be
accomplished. Road to
the Horse has developed
into a worldwide
phenomenon inspiring
fans from all over the
world to develop a
deeper understanding
of the horse. Learn

Black at www.

Analise Granger is
from Dothan, Alabama, and in 2016, she
was named reserved world champion
for youth ages 13 and under. She is an
accomplished rider in Western, English, and
trick riding! Trick riding is a style involving
moves such as standing on the horse’s back
during a ride and one known as a suicide
drag where the rider is hanging off the
side of the horse, their hands brushing the
ground. Equine fans, get ready because
Analise has some seriously exciting tricks
up her sleeves.
Henry and Cindy Wynn with 5 Wynn
Horse Company of Pavo, Georgia, will also
showcase their horses, along with members
of the Georgia Ranch Horse Association
(ARHA), which strives to promote the
balance and versatility of the ranch horse.
Joining the Wynn family at Sunbelt Ag Expo
will be their oldest, J.T., owner of Wynn
Custom Leather, who will display his unique,
custom, hand-made leather goods. Their
diverse product line ranges from new and
used saddles to wallets and handbags. They
also do custom embroidery as well. Visit
their website at www.wynnleather.com.
The 2019 Miss Sunbelt Expo Rodeo
Queen Pageant was held in August and
welcomed a record number of contestants.
The queens will serve as ambassadors of
the Sunbelt Ag Expo and will help promote
a positive image and awareness of the
importance that the equine industry plays
in the state of Georgia. Make sure to stop by
Horse experts, rodeo queens, and trick riders
